Following Jurgen Klopp’s “world class” forecast, Liverpool are planning to discuss Diogo Jota’s contract.

According to reports, Liverpool plans to continue investing in every member of their team, with Diogo Jota receiving the most recent offer of improved conditions to stay at Anfield.
Over the past few months, The Reds have already signed a number of important players and employees to new contracts. The first Liverpool manager to sign a new contract was manager Jurgen Klopp, whose contract was extended in April until the summer of 2026.
Mohamed Salah, a legendary forward, then followed him. It was feared that Liverpool would have to pay for the Egyptian’s services immediately or risk losing him for free when his previous contract expired next summer.
However, the former AS Roma forward signed a new three-year contract to remain at Anfield, so that was not the case. The offers of new contracts haven’t stopped there; Joe Gomez, a defender, has also agreed to a term that will last until the summer of 2027, despite rumors that Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa are interested in hiring him.
Jota, who joined Liverpool from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2020, may be the most recent player to sign a new contract after making a strong impression. The Liverpool Echo claims that his impressive displays at Anfield have ‘encouraged’ the club to discuss the possibility of an enhanced contract.
He is said to be in line for a raise from his current weekly salary of £90,000. This would be just compensation for his performances. Despite that choice, there doesn’t seem to be any hurry to begin negotiations because Jota’s contract still has three years to run.
The 25-year-old Portuguese international has made 85 appearances and scored 34 goals since joining Anfield. Despite a sluggish final few months, he still finished the season with 21 goals across all competitions after a scorching start to the previous year.
Jota has improved since moving to Anfield, and Liverpool manager Klopp has already lauded him and said he may one day reach the pinnacle of the game. In April, the German said: “Since he came in, he improved a lot; that has a bit to do with age; he is gradually assuming the role of the best striker in the world.
