Eden Hazard, a winger for Real Madrid, has revealed that he is overjoyed to be injury-free and ready to strut his thing for Los Blancos next season. Hazard was signed from Chelsea in 2019 for a fee of up to £150 million, but he is yet to make an impact in Madrid. Due to injuries, he has only made 66 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and assisting ten times.

This summer, however, might be a watershed moment in Hazard’s Real career. The Belgian underwent surgery to remove a metal plate from his ankle and is now pain-free for the first time since November 2019.

He’s currently in Belgium, where he put in a fantastic performance against Poland earlier this week. He took a break from the international camp to visit a Real supporters’ group in Belgium to discuss the future. “I know I owe a debt of gratitude to the president, the amazing Madrid fans who welcomed me with open arms at the Bernabeu, and my teammates and coach,” he stated.
