Cristino Ronaldo’s stance has been labeled “nonsense.”
According to the Mail, United strenuously denied last week’s rumors that they were willing to loan him out if he agreed to a one-year contract extension.
Ronaldo returned to Carrington with his agent Jorge Mendes on Tuesday, where he is believed to have undertaken crunch negotiations over his future.
He also attended an hour-long meeting in which Erik ten Hag briefed the club on its mainly successful pre-season trip of Thailand and Australia.
