Manchester United Summer signing, Christian Eriksen ‘scores on Man Utd debut’

On his first outing for Manchester United in a friendly, CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN scored.
In a friendly game against Wrexham on Wednesday that was played behind closed doors, Christian Eriksen scored on his debut for Manchester United. For the Red Devils, Lisandro Martinez, a fellow recent acquisition, also played.
Only earlier in the day was Martinez formally introduced as a member of the United team. However, he faced up against their National League rivals right away.
The Wrexham AFC podcast’s @RobRyanRed Twitter account tweeted the outcome of the game at Carrington at halftime. Eriksen scored United’s goal, and at the half, the score remained 1-1.
Both Martinez and Raphael Varane participated in the opening period. The France defender had a difficult preseason due to injuries, therefore Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, will benefit from his comeback.
Eriksen, who joined United earlier this month on a free transfer after leaving Brentford, was the club’s second acquisition of the summer. Following an agreement with Ajax for a move of up to £57 million, Martinez was the next player through the door.
Although his arrival has already been officially confirmed by United, the trade was not 100% complete until Wednesday. Martinez expressed his joy at signing a long-term contract with Old Trafford.
