Christian Eriksen defines his role at Manchester United.

After joining for Manchester United, Christian Eriksen has stated that he expects to be a regular.
United won the race to capture Eriksen when they made him their second summer signing earlier this month, as Erik ten Hag took the first move toward improving his midfield. Despite the fact that Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek, who can both playmaker, are already at the club,
The new manager isn’t done yet, as he is still chasing a deal for Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong, despite all the difficulties in the way. If De Jong does arrive, he will join Fred, Scott McTominay, and James Garner as another midfield option. That would create a lot of competition for spots, but Eriksen has already established himself as a regular starter.
“I want to come here to play football,” he told the official website of Manchester United. “I don’t come here only to look at the logo; I come here to play.”
“I think my style of play will hopefully blend in with his [Ten Hag’s] beliefs, and hopefully it will connect in a positive way.” So, of course, I think his football style suits me.”
Eriksen has also stated his ambition to join the likes of Paul Scholes, Eric Cantona, and George Best in the pantheon of great, creative players at Manchester United, as well as break the club’s trophy drought.
“It’s a historic club,” he explained. “There have been a lot of huge, major players here, and to be on that list, first and foremost, I’m here to play and establish that I can be on that list.” But, in retrospect, it’s a long list with some very, very famous names.
The Ajax CEO offers Manchester United more hope in their chase of Antony.
“I’m sure the objectives are, of course, to return to the top. It’s the club’s dream, and the club’s history is now being the greatest, so I think the only goal is to reach as high as we can and see where it leads us. But I believe the goal is to win something.”
