Chelsea are ‘a mess’ and ‘lagging behind’ rivals Liverpool and other’s

The Blues’ summer has been incredibly chaotic thus far, with Todd Boehly’s ownership of the team giving Thomas Tuchel’s team an advantage in the transfer market.Despite signing Raheem Sterling and Koulibaly, the Chelsea team is in transition after already losing players like Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, and Romelu Lukaku.
The strength of Chelsea’s squad will be essential if they are to contend for big awards this season, but the club appears to be falling behind their rivals as new acquisitions are being delayed.
This was demonstrated by a humiliating 4-0 loss to Arsenal in a preseason match in Las Vegas; as a result, Tuchel expressed concern about the club’s current situation.
Darren Lewis, a frequent on talkSPORT, claims that there are serious issues around the Blues as Boehly finds it more difficult than he anticipated to complete deals.
“The interesting thing is that Todd Boehly has been beaten to the punch by Barcelona for Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, he’s not been able to get Nathan Ake out of Manchester City, and now it looks as though he’s being beaten again by Barcelona for Jules Kounde,” Lewis said on talkSPORT’s Sunday Session.
“At the very least, he’s having trouble getting these signings approved.
