Celtic set price for its winger after loan spell at Stoke.

Sead Haksabanovic’s future at Celtic is being discussed, with the club apparently demanding roughly 30 million Swedish Krona (£2.2 million) for the Montenegrin winger.

Haksabanovic, who joined Celtic in 2022 under then-manager Ange Postecoglou, has struggled to make an impression during his loan spell with Stoke City in the English Championship.

After a disappointing season in which he only scored one goal and two assists in 22 appearances, mostly coming off the bench, Haksabanovic has opted to leave Stoke. With more than three years remaining on his Celtic contract, he is expected to return to Glasgow this summer; but, his stay could be short-lived if a fair offer is received.

According to Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt, while Celtic are eager to trade Haksabanovic, it remains to be seen whether any clubs will reach their asking price, especially given his recent play. Celtic paid £1.7 million for the winger and hope to earn a small profit.
