Carter-Vickers sets ambitious target for Celtic in tight race with Rangers.

Glory-hunting Cameron Carter-Vickers described Celtic’s lead over Rangers as “nothing” as he aimed for six wins from six to win the Premiership and Scottish Cup double.

The Scottish champions enter the last straight knowing that if they win their five split games and the cup final against Rangers, they will secure their remaining double targets. Brendan Rodgers’ side leads the league by three points and will hope to preserve that lead when they face Dundee on Sunday.

The massive defender stated, “We’ve secured our place in one cup final. Does it feel like we have another five games in the league before then? One hundred percent. To achieve where we want to go, we will most likely need to win every game in the league. It’s still tight in the table since three points is nothing. “That is one game.”There are five crucial games coming up in the league, followed by the Cup final. So we have six games remaining, and all of them are must-wins for us.”

“There are five major games coming up in the league, followed by the cup final. So we have six games remaining, and all of them are must-wins for us.”

Rodgers criticized his team of being soft earlier in the season, but they are now returning to their battle-hardened form. The advantage has returned to the green and white side of Glasgow, and Carter-Vickers is keen to keep it there. When questioned if Celtic were not turning soft, Carter-Vickers replied, “100%. There is no reason not to be like that. So we’re completely focused on attempting to produce in the next five league games.”

Celtic play Dundee, Hearts, and Rangers before traveling to Kilmarnock and concluding their regular season at home against St Mirren before the Scottish Cup final on May 25th.
