ARIGO SACCHI EXPLAINS HIS REASONS FOR WANTING TO COACH MOHAMED SALAH

pleaseArrigo Sacchi, a former manager of Milan and Italy, has admitted he’d like to train Mohamed Salah of Liverpool. Although he is not a perfect celebrity,
When asked by La Gazzetta dello Sport which player he would like to train today, the former Rossoneri manager chose the Liverpool star.
The 76-year-old stated, “I’d choose a player that understands the work ethic, without excesses of protagonism, and functional to my views.
I have always prioritized the head before the feet. Training can correct feet, but not the head. The way Liverpool’s forwards play is why I like them. They move quickly, support their team, and attack the targets. Salah, who may not be a true superstar, is ideal for how I view strikers, therefore I’d go with him.
The 30-year-contract old’s with the Reds, where he has 156 goals in 253 games, was recently extended.
The international from Egypt played for Fiorentina and Roma during his two and a half seasons in Serie A.
Before signing a €42 million contract to join Liverpool in the summer of 2017, he made 80 appearances in Serie A and scored 35 goals.
Salah’s contract extension guarantees he won’t be leaving Anfield anytime soon, despite the striker’s winter transfer window links to Juventus.
