Liverpool
Ahead of Man United and Liverpool encounter, Erik ten Hag’s pre-game preparation strategies, exposed.

In preparation for today’s match against Liverpool, Manchester United held an open training session yesterday, and there was much to be learned.
Players were placed into more rondo games after “perhaps the world’s largest rondo,” which, according to Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic, prompted Erik ten Hag to provide stern instructions.
largest rondo ever.

The new manager pointed out the attacking side’s shape as he moved between the two groups, one of which was being supervised by Mitchell van der Gaag and the other by Steve McClaren:
Bring two additional players to the middle. Triangles are possible; that is football. the same basic principle.
According to Laurie Whitwell, the Dutchman “shouted” the instruction and made it apparent that his degree of participation in these drills is significantly more than that of Ralf Rangnick or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before him.
Triangle formation is a straightforward goal, but it is a goal that should help United in their efforts to maintain possession in order to threaten the opposition.
Prior United teams suffered from “poor, hasty decision-making in the closing third,” as James Ducker of the Telegraph notes.
Ten Hag urged his players to “select the correct moment” as he noted an instance during an eight vs five drill in which “the ball was worked side to side four times before an eventual cross.”
Although Ducker criticized portions of the play as being “slow and cumbersome,” it will be exciting to watch the Red Devils play with the patience and accuracy that they have lacked in the past.
Even while the pace and sharpness are not yet there, that might indicate an organization considerably different from what United fans are accustomed to for today’s game.
Aaron wan-bissaka and Tyrell Malacia were wide of Fred in the aforementioned drill, which pitted an eight-man attack against a five-man defense. Donny van de beek was in front with bruno fernandes, and a front three of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Anthony Martial made up the attacking unit.
This line-up matches the lineup that the people’s person anticipated for the game, and it will be an interesting setup to watch in action against Liverpool at the Rajamangala.
