Manchester United
After asking the Man Utd manager six questions, Gary Neville foresaw Richard Arnold’s struggle

After Richard Arnold was appointed as the new CEO of Manchester United in February, Gary Neville foresaw a difficult task ahead of him.
Woodward resigned after serving the club for ten years, and Arnold replaced him at Old Trafford. The difficult task facing the incoming CEO is to distinguish himself from Woodward, who did not enjoy the support of the United faithful.
“Naturally, Richard Arnold should be given some time to analyze the situation, but at Manchester United, things move quickly and a lot is going on all the time. Sometimes the best course of action is to take it slowly, step back, and avoid getting entangled in the minutiae of what is happening.”
Neville was aware of Arnold’s new position, but he even went so far as to ask the new CEO six questions. What is the strategy? What is the club’s strategy? Where is the club headed?
What must it accomplish in three years? In five years, where should it be? How will the club represent itself and act ethically both on the field and, more importantly, off it?
