Robert Lewandowski, a star player for Bayern Munich, has been linked to a move to Manchester United, but according to Chris Sutton, Arsenal is a better choice.

The striker from Poland is regarded as the best in football. With 344 goals and 77 assists in 374 appearances, he has been fantastic for Bayern over the years. This is a very amazing record.

Despite being 33 years old, Lewandowski is still going strong. The £329,000-a-week player had a 50 goal and seven assist season last year in all competitions, and he now wants out of Bayern.

Although The Sun just a few days ago revealed that Manchester United are prepared to enter the race to sign him if his deal to Camp Nou fails, he is apparently solely interested in joining Barcelona this summer. Sutton simply cannot fathom why the Pole would ever think about relocating to Old Trafford.

According to HITC, Sutton said, “I have noticed that Lewandowski has been linked, if he doesn’t go to Barcelona, then he will go to Manchester United,” in an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport. Why though?

“What made him decide to join Manchester United?

There are more substantial and superior choices available. Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea are currently better options than Manchester United, as are Spurs and Chelsea. I’m not saying Arteta has uprooted too many trees, but one club seems to be stable under him. They are in a better situation and are better situated than Manchester United.

While Manchester United supporters will be furious, Arsenal supporters will undoubtedly concur with Sutton. Lewandowski won’t be joining either team this summer, so both sets of supporters can conserve their vigor.

However, Mikel Arteta’s team has to find a productive striker in the next two months. Right now, the Arsenal lack a top player. While Alexandre Lacazette was permitted to go at the end of his contract, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was forced to leave in February.

A new contract has been given to Eddie Nketiah, but the Englishman has not yet decided whether to stay with the team.

This summer, a new striker is an absolute necessity, thus it will be intriguing to watch who Arteta signs. Lewandowski is the one player he will not be signing, barring a complete miracle.
