“A Real Concern,” Says Liverpool Star Who Is Predicted To Miss Premier League Season Opening Due To Injury

Since coming to Anfield from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2020, the Portuguese international has been a revelation, scoring 34 goals in 85 games, including 21 last season.
Ben Dinnery, though, has given Liverpool supporters some concerning information on Jota:
“This is a serious issue. He sustained the injury while representing Portugal, and he did so again while working out.
This seriously throws into doubt his availability going into the first game week. The likelihood that he won’t participate right now is low. Football Insider was told by Dinnery.
In the Premier League, you can’t afford to make too many mistakes, especially given that you would anticipate City to get out to a fast start.
Liverpool will also need to get started right away if they want to compete. Jota would typically play a significant role in that.
But it’s hard to imagine him playing in the first few games of the season until we see him on the practice field shortly.
