Bucks Name Dream Trade Target

According to Bleacher Report, the Milwaukee Bucks could chase Sacramento’s rising star.
Many fans are aware of the Sacramento Kings’ stacked guard room, owing primarily to Keon Ellis’s rise to prominence. The Kings’ backcourt rotation includes De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Keon Ellis, Kevin Huerter, Devin Carter, and Jordan McLaughlin, one of the most well-rounded units available.

With so many good guards, Sacramento may consider trading one to strengthen one of their weakest positions.
Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report compiled a list of each NBA team’s top three feasible trade targets, and he believes the Milwaukee Bucks should consider Keon Ellis.

If Ellis falls out of the rotation, he would be an attractive trade target for a variety of teams due to his three-point shooting, defence, hustle, and $2.1 million contract.

Ellis, 24, received a normal contract with Sacramento last season after excelling on a two-way deal, and his presence in the Kings’ lineup has been unparalleled.
Ellis averaged 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 stocks per game while shooting 40.4 percent from three. His strong play on both sides of the ball placed him on the map across the league, and as one of the most rapidly rising players, the Kings have no reason to look to move him.

Swartz is correct that his salary makes him an urgent trade target for many clubs, but giving one of your seven best players slightly more than $2 million is worth keeping for the Kings.
The Bucks, especially after dealing away defensive stud Jrue Holiday, could certainly rely on Ellis to anchor their backcourt defence. Regardless, the Kings have no need to consider Ellis in any trade talks.
