Harry Milne has joined Hearts from Partick Thistle, becoming the fifth new signing at Tynecastle Park. The 28-year-old signed an initial contract that will run until the summer of 2026 and can be extended. After undergoing a physical earlier today, he will train with his new teammates this week in preparation for Monday’s Scottish Cup fifth-round encounter against St Mirren.
Ethan Drysdale, a Hearts teenager, is headed in the opposite direction to replace Milne in the Thistle team. The teenager will join Firhill on loan until the end of the season to fill Partick’s left-back vacancy and acquire first-team experience in the process.
Hearts paid a low five-figure amount to bring Milne to Edinburgh, after signing Elton Kabangu, Jamie McCart, Michael Steinwender, and Sander Kartum since the winter transfer window started. After moving up from the Championship to the Scottish Premiership, the defender will battle with James Penrice for the left back position.
