Hearts Celebrate Major Coup with Signing of ‘Exceptional’ Technical Talent from Celtic

Hearts are ecstatic to have signed the technically gifted Celtic player.
Hearts are ecstatic after signing a young potential from fellow Premiership side Celtic.

The Jambos have signed midfielder Aiden Haddow on a contract until the summer of 2026. Hearts has a ‘B’ team that competes in the Lowland League, providing senior exposure for rising stars in the fifth division.

Haddow was out of contract at Celtic this summer and was not given an extension. He has now decided to move to Edinburgh ahead of time. Passing is thought to be an important aspect of the teenager’s game, who has played for Celtic’s B squad and in the UEFA Youth League competition.
Aidan Denholm, Macaulay Tait, James Wilson, and Adam Forrester have all progressed from the youth academy to the B squad, and ultimately to senior football. Haddow is seen as a player with considerable experience for his age who could pursue a similar route.

Speaking on the signing, ‘B’ team manager Angus Beith said: “Aiden is a highly interesting young player who will provide further competition to our midfield. He is technically excellent.

“More importantly he has that hunger and desire to learn and keep improving his game. I’m happy he’s joining us, and I’m forward to work with him.”
Hearts has had a busy month in terms of incoming players. Elton Kabangu started things off in January, followed by Jamie McCart’s arrival. More business is likely, and exits are ongoing, with Kye Rowles and Liam Boyce departing the club permanently.
