Man Utd urged to hijack Arsenal transfer pursuit as Ruben Amorim in desperate need

Manchester United star Gary Pallister has urged his former team to bid for Newcastle’s star, saying: “The club just needs a goalscorer.”

Isak’s sparkling performances have piqued the interest of many, with an astounding record of 13 goals, including a stunning run of 10 goals in his last 11 games. The Swedish striker is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after names in football, with clubs lining up to sign him, despite Newcastle’s desperation to keep him out of Arsenal’s clutches.

Any team wishing to sign the 25-year-old phenom may have to pay more than Chelsea did for Moises Caicedo, therefore ruling out many potential suitors. Pallister, on the other hand, believes that United must sign a player of Isak’s level in order to improve their scoring record.

According to Betano, signing Alexander Isak would immediately boost Manchester United’s team. They are still hunting for a guy who can score goals; he appears to be the finished article and exudes confidence. I’m not sure if they’ll spend £150 million, as Newcastle wants, but he’d be an excellent addition to any Premier League team.”
With stories circulating around Old Trafford regarding the search for new strikers, this comes as no surprise, especially given that Rasmus Hojlund has not scored in his previous seven games and Joshua Zirkzee has only four this season.

Pallister, a former United player, spoke on the club’s attacking options, emphasising the need for a prolific goal scorer. Pallister commented on Newcastle’s recent triumph at Old Trafford, saying: “Rasmus Hojlund has been with the club for a season and a half. Look, I like his attitude, but it’s obvious he’s learning on the job. The club needs goals right now, and Joshua Zirkzee isn’t a striker for me; he’s a number 10.

“It’s a shame the club didn’t try to close the Harry Kane trade while he was available. I believe Isak will be out of the club’s price range, but I’m not sure if anything can be done with Marcus Rashford moving the opposite way. The club just need a goalscorer.”

However, Pallister did praise Amad’s efforts this season under Ruben Amorim’s supervision, saying, “He’s been outstanding.”
He went on to say, “At the start of the season, he was playing like a guy who wasn’t sure of his place in the team, despite playing well at the conclusion of last season; I don’t know what Erik ten Hag didn’t see in him.

“He’s developed into a player who truly owns that shirt. In recent weeks, he has emerged as Amorim’s most valuable player. He’s been fantastic; his work ethic is incredible, and despite his little stature, he’s aggressive and physically fit. He’s ticking all the boxes, and I’m sure Amorim is overjoyed for him.”

Pallister also offered insights from Tony Mowbray, who previously coached Amad at Sunderland: “I’m good friends with Tony Mowbray, who had him at Sunderland, and he has always raved about him, he’s got a big future.”
