Antonee Robinson believes Fulham will not be intimidated by Tottenham Hotspur’s most recent Premier League result heading into Sunday’s derby.
Spurs defeated Manchester City for the sixth time in a row with a superb 4-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium last time out, but Robinson is confident that he and his teammates can return from North London with a win.
“They’re going to go into the game full of confidence,” the Jedi told them. “We’ll have had a little longer break because we play on Saturday and don’t have a midweek game, and they’ll have a tough game [against Roma in the Europa League on Thursday].”
“So, heading into it, we’re hoping that fresh legs would help us. If we’re on form and playing to our full potential, I believe we can compete with anyone.
“They’ve certainly done an incredible job to beat City that way, but City are going through a difficult time right now, so we’re not going to let that detract from our efforts; we’re going in with confidence, hoping to achieve something.
“We’ve seen this year that they can play amazing against big teams, and there’s been teams in and around us who managed to go against them and beat them, so we know they’re not an unbeatable team by any stretch.”
