The Baltimore Orioles acquired outfielder from the Oakland Athletics on Thursday for monetary considerations.
Daz Cameron, 27, joined the Oakland Athletics in 2024 after spending three seasons with the Detroit Tigers (2020-22). Cameron was in the Orioles’ organisation in 2023, playing the entire season with Triple-A Norfolk.
Cameron batted in 66 games for the Athletics.200, setting career highs in home runs (5) and RBIs (15). Cameron had a.201 batting average in 139 career MLB games for Detroit and Oakland, with 10 home runs and 39 RBI.
Cameron split 2024 between left, right, and centre field, but 57 of his MLB starts have come in right field.
Cameron batted while playing for Norfolk in 2023.268 with 16 home runs, 67 RBIs, and 23 stolen bases in 110 games. He made 62 starts in centre field.
