Derek Jeter Offers Blunt Assessment Of Yankees Struggles In World Series

The Yankees are still looking for their first win in the 2024 World Series… and Derek Jeter is breaking down NY vs. LA, telling TMZ Sports that the Dodgers are ahead because they’ve scored more runs!

We met up with the former Captain in New York City a few hours before the Yankees’ must-win game against the Los Angeles Dodgers… and the Hall of Famer isn’t complicating matters.
“Do you want me to break it down for you what happened last night,” Jeter asked us at the time. “The Dodgers scored more runs than the Yankees.”

With the final score of 4-2, the maths checks out!

The 50-year-old had a front-row seat to the action… DJ threw out the ceremonial first pitch to start the game while still working as a FOX Sports analyst.

If the Yankees want to win Game 4 and extend the series, they’ll need to score more runs… and that starts with their MVP slugger and current captain, Aaron Judge, breaking out of his terrible playoff slump!

Game 4 begins at 5 p.m. PT on FOX, and some believe it would be beneficial for the Yankees to score more runs than the Dodgers.
