Malik Knowles, a Mansfield Lake Ridge High School 2018 wide receiver, has committed to Kansas State. He recorded 850 yards and 17 touchdowns in his final year. He was regarded as a three-star wide receiver.
Knowles is a major playmaker for the Wildcats. In his career, he has 50 receptions for 701 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 14 yards per catch. He has also ran for 170 yards and a touchdown.
Malik’s record-breaking accomplishments
Knowles made the All-Big 12 Second Team in 2021, averaging 33 yards per return and two touchdowns. In his career, he has 79 catches for 1,142 yards and 12 touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and 1,099 kick return yards with three touchdowns.
Malik Knowles’ 725 receiving yards in 2022 are the most at Kansas State since Tyler Lockett in 2014. Byron Pringle totalled 724 yards in 2017.
