7 out of contract players MK Dons could lose for free in the summer

Up to seven first team players from MK Dons could depart this summer due to expiring contracts.

Six more members of Mike Williamson’s team are expected to go on loan: Jack Payne, Lewis Bate, Emre Tezgel, Anthony Stewart, Kyran Lofthouse, and Filip Marschall.

The head coach acknowledged that Sporting Director Liam Sweeting is negotiating with some of the players who are not under contract.
Here’s a refresher on who might leave Stadium MK at the end of the current campaign.

Michael Kelly

Has signed several short-term deals to stay at the club this season, but his deal runs until the summer

Warren O’Hora

Is closing in on 200 appearances for the club since he joined initially on loan from Brighton in 2020.

Daniel Harvie

similar to O’Hora, signed in the 2020 summer and has been a consistent player ever since. signed a new contract in September 2022, but it’s believed the club has the option to give him an additional year.

Dan Kemp

Signed a two-and-a-half year deal when he moved from Leyton Orient in February of 2022. Will be hot property this summer after his impressive time on loan at Swindon

Dean Lewington

Has been signing one-year extension deals for a long time now. Doesn’t show any signs of wanting to stop yet, and is set to play into his 40s

Matt Dennis

Joined from Norwich City in the summer of 2022, and the club has an option to retain the striker for a further year

Ethan Robson

Signed in the summer of 2022 after his impressive loan spell in 2021. Has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot but has been a regular in the side all season
