Jurgen Klopp gives a clear sign that he wants a new signing before September 1

Jurgen Klopp has again hinted that he wants to make a new signing before the transfer deadline since injuries are still piling up and performance is becoming worse by the week.
Jurgen Klopp has again hinted that he wants to make a new signing before the transfer deadline since injuries are still piling up and performance is becoming worse by the week.
Klopp has maintained his position that Liverpool’s incoming activity is finished for the majority of the summer window.
But a terrible start to the campaign, with Monday’s 2-1 defeat at Man United exacerbating previous draws with Fulham and Crystal Palace, saw an injury crisis unfolding.
Naby Keita is the latest to join – or join because he hasn’t played in the Premier League due to previous illness – the list of absentees, which also includes fellow midfielders Thiago, Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain.
There have long been calls for another signing in the middle of the park before 11pm on September 1 and Klopp’s comments on the situation have changed in recent days.
Back in July, the boss named nine midfield options and asked: “Where do you need a midfielder? I’m waiting for the day when someone comes to me and tells me exactly why.”
But ahead of the trip to Old Trafford, Klopp admitted he would “always try to get stronger” and suggested his hands were tied by the club’s financial limits, adding “we are not responsible for that.” that’s what we can spend.”
However, after another bitter result and injuries, his response to a question from beIN SPORTS was a big indication that he indeed wanted another signing.
“I can’t say anything about it,” he smiled when asked if there was a chance to strengthen the squad.
“I try to do the job that I can and then we have to see what we can do.”
This followed his pre-match comments and possibly put pressure on the club’s owners to continue supporting him in the transfer market.

Liverpool have already spent a total of £ 99.2m to bring in Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay, while the funds have also been used to secure new long-term contracts for the likes of Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota.
But sales of Sadio Mane, Neco Williams, Takumi Minamino and Ben Davies fetched £ 71.6 million and the salaries of Divock Origi and Loris Karius were canceled.
It’s hard to speculate if there really isn’t any money to spend on Klopp, or if he and the club’s recruiting staff simply didn’t pick the right target.
There is no denying, however, that Liverpool are in a difficult position and could certainly benefit from a final addition.
