Liverpool
Liverpool made a £67 million bid for the star, and now Manchester United is ready to make a £41.9 million bid – according to reports.

Matheus Cunha has been a target for Liverpool for some time, but reports suggest that Manchester United is pushing hard to sign the Brazilian international.
According to today’s edition of AS (news image below), the Reds moved in to inquire about hiring the Atletico Madrid star, but he is now wanted by the Old Trafford club.
According to a source in Madrid, Manchester United are ready to make a bid of 50 million euros (£41.9 million) to sign the South American center forward.
However, the Rojiblancos have refused to negotiate and will only sell their prized asset if his contract’s release clause is activated.
Cunha joined Wanda Metropolitano from Hertha Berlin last year, and his contract, which expires in 2026, has an exit clause of 80 million euros (£67 million), according to Sport.
According to the Catalan news outlet, Atletico Madrid are unyielding, while the 23-year-old striker has refused to join Manchester United.
Cunha had 7 goals and 8 assists in all competitions last season, but he was mostly a bench warmer in the Spanish League, starting only eight games.
In terms of the current season, the former Bundesliga player came on in the 83rd minute against Getafe in the first La Liga match.
Man United are bottom of the Premier League and cannot offer Champions League football, so it is understandable that the player does not want to join them.
AS reported in January that Liverpool made an official offer to sign Matheus Cunha, who was tempted to move to Anfield, but the Colchoneros refused to sell.
Should Jurgen Klopp try to sign him again, in your opinion?
