Decide something. Danny Murphy claims he would bench the 25-year-old Liverpool star in the cup final on Sunday.

Sunday’s Carabao Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea will see Jurgen Klopp dealing with a lot of selection issues.

Liverpool does indeed currently have a very injured roster, with serious issues at full-back and in the attack.

Danny Murphy has been talking about how Liverpool should lineup this weekend on Premier League Productions. He has said that he would start Conor Bradley at right-back and put Andy Robertson back into the starting lineup, benching Joe Gomez.

Sunday’s game is important for the obvious reasons. Hopefully, Nunez or Salah will return to join Gakpo and Diaz.

Robertson will likely return, and he will need to decide whether to keep Conor Bradley at right-back or move Gomez to the position. I would be the young man. Let him go again, Murphy replied. “Go after Chelsea; they’re more afraid of you than you are of them. He was simply Man of the Match against Chelsea.”

Joe Gomez has been Liverpool’s standout player the entire season. He should get the start in this cup final, regardless of whether he is playing at center half, left back, or right back.

Robertson is without a doubt the finest left-back in Liverpool’s lineup, but Bradley has been even better since joining the team. Murphy notes that the young player was outstanding against Chelsea last month, perhaps winning Man of the Match.

Unfortunately, one of these players will probably have to skip out, and we can’t help but feel that would be a very harsh decision if Gomez had to sit out the game.
