Manchester United is link with interest in former Man City star Leroy Sane

Due to Cristiano Ronaldo’s desire to leave and Erik ten Hag’s desire to bolster his team in the wake of the Antony loss, Manchester United are still looking for an attacker.
As manager Erik ten Hag continues to evaluate his offensive alternatives, Manchester United has unexpectedly inquired about the availability of former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane.
Since moving back to Germany in 2020 to join Bayern Munich, Sane hasn’t always had the easiest time. The amount of playing time that Sadio Mane will receive this season has also been questioned since his arrival from Liverpool this summer.
Last season, the 26-year-old only made 22 starts for Bayern in the Bundesliga, and Mane’s transfer is expected to limit his prospects even more. Ten Hag is believed to be pleased with the notion of having Jason Sancho and Marcus Rashford flank Anthony Martial in attack to start the season.
Leroy Sane has recently had trouble getting into games.

The Dutch giants do not want to lose another major player to United after previously losing Ten Hag and Lisandro Martinez to the Red Devils, therefore Ten Hag has been considering a move for Ajax winger Anthony.
Sane is being explored as an alternative, while they may yet be able to finalize a deal for Anthony. Sane has Premier League experience, so he would adjust to the top division quickly. Of course, his four championships, two with City and two with Bayern, are also an asset.
Sane has also been associated with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who is well-known to be a fan of the athlete.
Ten Hag wants United to bring in up to five new players this summer, but the team has only brought in three. The Dutchman responded, “That would be a good situation,” when asked if he would have preferred more time before his team’s Premier League opening against Brighton. But I have a team, and I’m satisfied with it. The current team is doing well. I’m pleased with the signings thus far. We simply don’t need any players; we simply need the proper players, and this is where we’re all coming together.
He continued, “I cannot comment on a player who is under contract with another club. It’s about the proper players, and there are many of them. We will deliver news as soon as we have it. You first develop players who are currently on your roster by working with them. There are players in that position right now, and they do a great job.
