Prior to being acquired by Spanish and European powerhouses Madrid, the midfielder was linked to a move to Liverpool during the summer transfer window.

On Sunday against Newcastle, Anthony Gordon gave the Magpies the lead in the 25th minute.

Three minutes later, center defender Virgil van Dijk of the Netherlands’ national team was dismissed, leaving Liverpool with just 10 players.

Darwin Nunez, a second-half substitute, scored twice to give Jurgen Klopp’s team a 2-1 victory.

Gordon’s goal was Gordon’s mistake, and Alexander-Arnold had an extremely difficult first half.

Liverpool as a team struggled throughout the opening 45 minutes.

However, the Reds improved in the second quarter, and Alexander-Arnold displayed his skill on offense while also playing stronger defense.

Alexander-Arnold had one critical pass, a pass accuracy of 64.1%, 61 touches, two attempted dribbles, two tackles, four clearances, and three crosses during his time on the field at St. James’ Park.
